In early December we decided spontaneously to a short trip to Munich, which we already knew from other visits. The journey was comfortable with a direct flight of Lufthansa. Not nice is only the long journey from the airport Franz Josef Strauss to the city centre. We had booked a suite in the Bayerischer Hof, then even got an upgrade to the Presidential Suite with spectacular views of the Frauenkirche. The hotel presented itself in its usual excellent manner. Especially worth visiting is still the night club with more or less daily live music.
Pre-Christmas Munich was, inter alia also because of the Christmas market crowded with tourists. Particularly striking were the many Italian guests. We visited only a few attractions downtown, for example the huge residence.
